We often put a line or two from the article in a little highlights section, but this was so good, we couldn’t choose any to remove…so here it is in full 😀

The latest release from London-based band The Survival Code, “Broken Strings” is a hard-hitting track filled with steely determination.

Lulling you into a false sense of comfort, the track’s fast-paced opening packs a punch, dragging you kicking and screaming into an energy doused chorus.

Strong vocals and heavy guitar lines lead us to remiss about the great rock sounds that blessed the late 90s and early 00s, conjuring comparisons to Foo Fighters and Queens Of The Stone Age in all their crowning glory. With waves of heavy percussion and deep bass lines – all fused with the band’s signature sketchy guitar riffs, the track leaves a heavily-trodden and distinctive footprint.

Packed with a sizzling energy that hooks you from the start, infectiously surging riffs are evidently what The Survival Code do best.
