The Survival Code are a London based rock duo known for their beefy, guitar laden songs, banging beats and huge energetic live shows. The rock duo comprise of Gary McGuinness (guitar, vox) and Simon Hartop (drums, vox)

The Survival Code have been around in many incarnations since 2012 but found their final lineup of as a duo and their sound In 2018 in the recording of the album HOPELESSNESS OF PEOPLE with the esteemed producer they still work with to this day : Matt Hyde (UK).

 

 

Ever since then the band have grown from strength to strength gigging across the UK on two UK tours and releasing the 2019 EP - CROSSES TO CARRY, COFFINS TO FILL which has the band's stand out song "So Serious" which has over 2m streams on Spotify alone. This went on to be the strongest release of their career

 

2023 saw the release of 12 singles in 12 months which was a huge undertaking which was followed by the release of the last album "WHISPERS OF WOE" in January 2024 to critial acclaim

The lads have been gigging intermittently since, keep an eye for a show near you on songkick 

 

2026 promises to be a huge year for new music. With uncertainty of what the future heald release wise, an EP emerged from the songs that they had. This will be release in Q1 of 2026, keep an eye for updates of the name, singles, videos and more
