TSC 2026 update

Hello there, it’s been a while 🥹

We had no intention for such a silence this year, especially with promises of new music

The good news, new music and lots of new media is coming, we’ve been working on it this whole time. We didn’t want to rush the artwork, video concepts or songs themselves to just meet a deadline we had set for ourselves. That ultimately means what we share with you will be the best possible version of the vision we initially had

The bad news, that has unfortunately meant that we are delayed!… exactly how long, it’s uncertain as yet being completely honest but we promise to do better with the info going forward up to our release 😇

The year has flown for us as I’m sure it has for you! We can’t believe it’s already July!… where has the year gone? As I write from an almost unbearably hot London. Always grateful for the sun, but not sure this City was meant for consecutive days over 30°. Shooting music videos had been a challenge we have to say 🥹😅

Ok so the new music…. The announcement is we are releasing a new EP but that won’t be out until next year. We promise to get a song out from it this year and it will be followed by a number in 2026, all supported by our work on media, videos and more

The artwork is something very different on this offering. Unlike our last release “Whispers Of Woe” 2024, we had personally drawn every single cover. They all had a common theme and were all essentially graphics

For this offering we wanted to almost do the opposite but to touch on something we’ve used before, an approach more like the 2019’s “Cross To Carey, Coffins To Fill” where we bought physical items to photograph (such as the cover itself which is coffins with crosses within, that was two small shelving units with satin pillow cases 😅)…

This time around we’re not quite using sarin pillow cases, but we have a load of cool ideas to reflect the song meanings and imagery. That has meant ordering an array of items from eBay and further afield that may raise a few eyebrows were anyone to see the receipts 😂

Imagery has always been a huge part of what we do and we feel the extra time has been so valuable in this area. We had most of these concepts longer than twelve months, but none were right, buying the right props and leaning how to light the scene better were among many variables we tweaked to make what we feel are strong images we think you’ll like if you’ve come this far with us

With all this talk the songs seem the last consideration, that’s obviously the least of the cases, it’s just buried so far underneath all of the above which “needs doing” too. If you’re an artist yourself or know one, you’ll be familiar with this tale and we are no different

For those unfamiliar with our work, we’re based in London and have been going 15 years. We’re an edgy rock band that is currently a duo (after many early derivations), and on the verge of our seventh major release

On our last release WOW 2024 mentioned above, we released a song every month throughout 2023! Every month a new video, supported by all the socials and more… it was the most intense year we ever had and we’re not sure if the workload and commitment is any different with fewer songs tbh, so wanted to enjoy the last few months “offline” to get all of this work right for you guys so that we are ready to make it happen when the time is right

The last thing you want to be doing is finding yourself in the middle of a realise campaign and already tired of social media and the bits it needs to give the music you’ve poured your life and soul into, to give it a chance. You need to be in a good head space and creative with the work, sometimes a break from it is the best way to come back ready and full of ideas

Back to the songs, we are working with the great Matt Hyde as before, we can also announce we are doing our first official “cover” which is not a headline for most bands, but is for us. The cover is not a song you’d expect that we would choose but we think it really works for us and can’t wait to share it with all of you

The songs themselves explore all the best parts of the band. We aren’t restricted by a genre or feel for this release, each sing sounds like a piece of our DNA. You can find the roots of it from MMXV, through Broken Strings, Hopelessness Of People, Crosses To Carry and ultimately Whispers Of Woe. We explore the heavy, groovy, riffy, steady, intense and reflective. In many ways it’s the same with the artwork for music

By that we mean, despite having a common theme of content based around props, we are not worried as much about uniformity of font, size and position of the image and colour. We going to go with what feels right, much like we’re doing with the songs

Aside the new music this year we have been asked about gigs. Just like the music we had intended to play at least one tour this year but all of our focus early in the year went into our London headline show with Luna Kiss. Even though it’s like send a Christmas card in June, thanks again for everyone coming down that eve and making it so special (a few pics taken by the audience attached)

It was our longest set we ever played and loved every minute

That’s it for now, we could go on, but we should get back to some video edits

We promise the next update will be far closer to this than this is to the last, and once we get going, you’ll be sick of us
